About the Author

                                                                          

Hayes Fletcher holds degrees from Lambuth College in Jackson, Tennessee, and Garrett School of Theology in Evanston, Illinois. After serving as a United Methodist Minister for 17 years in the Chicago Area and six years with a business organization in Connecticut, Fletcher returned to West Tennessee where he spent two decades in college administration and as President of Methodist Hospitals Foundation in Memphis.

While in Jackson, TN he wrote a weekly column for The Jackson Sun and completed a three-act play. He currently writes an occasional guest column for the Asheville Citizen-Times.

He is the author of Moonbeams From A Jar (novel), Press Clippings: Social, Political & Cutural Columns.   The author has published a children's book entitled The Magical Purple Thermos Bottle and has recently completed Laughing All The Way: A Joke a Day Keeps Stress Away.

He lives with his wife, Anita, in Weaverville, North Carolina.
